//Project Life Layout / July 2014

July has been a good month to me in so many ways. Just in terms of big plans, great news, and time spent with friends and family, this past month was quite fantastic.

The layout below came about because I plan on making a weekly spread with stuff that went on during those seven days...but for most of July, I kind of put it off. Oops! Instead of tossing the idea of a layout altogether (I KNEW I wanted to get down some of these notable memories!), I opted for a quick, easy one-page spread that highlighted things from July in photos and journaling.

I love, love, love including bits of ephemera because I always imagined how awesome it would be to find a great-grandparent's journal or scrapbook and see mementos from the past. Ticket stubs, newspaper clippings, etc. They're all things that help put time and place into better context and I think it's so neat!
